810 Queensferry Road is a gut/rehab of a 30 year old home in the MacGregor Downs neighborhood in Cary, NC. Green Cottage used the great bones of the home and the amazing lot and location to create a virtually brand new, cozy, comfortable, green home, with minimal impact to the world around it.
The home earned a bronze-level NC Healthy Built Home certification from the the NC State Solar Center. It has also received an Energy Star rating of 58! (A home built to code gets a 100. To be Energy Star the home has to be 15% more efficient than a home built to code, or an 85. A 58 is VERY efficient.)
